WANT TO DO SOME FUNKY STUFF IN LISBON?
We collected some of our favorite programs:
Almost every day we have dinner in Old Town Hostel where local friends are also enjoining. We are sitting by one big table. After a great 4 course family dinner, we just open a bottle of wine and enjoy our time together.
Who is cooking? Urbi, our friend learned in 1 year how to cook the best Portuguese dishes. He was working in the best coffee’s and restaurants in Lisbon. He is really amazing ;-)
We can’t convince you about the quality of the food with words, check how the nights are at Urbi’s Dinner!
Free Walking Tours
These guys take you on a free walking tour in Lisbon every day. It's one of the best ways to get to know Lisbon from our hostel. They take you to the places and tell you the stories that you can’t find in your guide book. Visit the historical Alfama, the Flea Market, try the Ginginha and watch the beautiful Lisbon landscape from different viewpoints.
The guides don’t get money for showing around the city. If you liked the tour, they are accepting some tips. How cool! :)
Long story short: You party! :)
These guys also organize a drinking tour in the well-known Bairro Alto, where all the Portuguese nightlife is. Get to know Portuguese drinking habits, where to go, what to drink, meet new people, dance until morning light and interact with the enthusiastic guides!
Every night pick up from the hostel. Lisbon nightlife always starts here! They will explain everything on the spot.
Extreme Jeep and Van Tours
Nuno, Filipe and Gonçalo are 3 young locals, who are in love with Lisbon. They want to share this enchantment with you.
They are like any genuine Portuguese: they love sharing all their stories and experiences about Lisbon. They are not traditional guides, they are more like a great traveling companion driving a cool convertible jeep specially prepared so as to you don’t miss anything of the 7 hills of Lisbon nor its surrounding villages and charming places.
Check what trips are they doing when you are coming!
They will also pick you up from Lisbon Old Town Hostel.
